Our six Hotels in Greece are located in Corfu, Kos and Rhodes islands and our Head Offices are in Athens. We are currently hiring for LABRANDA MIRALUNA KIOTARI in RHODES.

 

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

 

Role Overview

A Payroll Administrator is a professional who oversees the hotel’s payroll processing and associated functions. The position works closely with different departments to increase performance and ensure smooth operations. The position will administer benefits, prepare reports, ensure legal compliance, and process payroll.

 

A payroll Administrator is able to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency and possess strong attention to detail. They are good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. They also have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives.

 

 

About the Role

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Process the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Prepare pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Assist in preparing reports for upper management, finance department, budget vs actual, etc.
  • Assist department heads with the shifts scheduling activities

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Accounting or equivalent  
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration or related field
  • Experience with HRIS systems and accounting software is a plus
  • Knowledge of labor and tax laws
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language
  • IT and Computer Literacy
  • Numerical Skills

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the hotel/hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of PYLON or EPSILON BUSINESS

  • The position reports directly to the Hotels Payroll Officer
  • The position cooperates closely with the hotel management
